Centenary Walk
Commemorating the hardy pioneers who settled in Karoonda, the Centenary Walk was unveiled in 2011 to mark the centenary of the sinking of the first water bore in the district.
Access to reliable fresh water from bores helped pave the way for settlers to survive and thrive in what can be a dry and semi-arid landscape at the height of summer.
The short walk features a series of pavers leading up to a windmill structure.
